EDGEWOOD (2-2) AT ROSS (3-1) — Both programs are playing a lot better than they did in their season openers. The Rams, who are winners of three straight, come off a big win against Harrison. The Cougars, who are coming off a rivalry victory over Talawanda, have gotten back to their bread and butter — the ground game. Look for more than 500 yards rushing combined from both teams in this Southwest Ohio Conference, Butler County bout.

FAIRFIELD (1-3) AT LAKOTA EAST (1-3) — The Thunderhawks are coming off a big win over Princeton, while the Indians are aiming to bounce back from a 21-7 loss to Lakota West. The Greater Miami Conference, this year, proves that records do not match a team’s ability. These two programs are good.

MIDDLETOWN (0-3) AT PRINCETON (3-1) — The Middies haven’t quite found their offense yet. But the playmakers are there, no question. Middletown will have a tough task against the Vikings, who are coming off a stinging loss to Lakota East.

MONROE (1-3) AT OAKWOOD (1-3) — The Hornets are looking to regain a little momentum heading into their final two regular-season games, and the best chance for Monroe to do so is against the Southwestern Buckeye League foe Lumberjacks.

CARROLL (1-3) AT BADIN (4-0) — The Rams are rolling on all cylinders. Their offense is putting up big-time numbers. Their defense is smothering. Badin has outscored its opponents 137-39 while Carroll has been outscored 33-119. LISTEN LIVE ON THE REPORT

TALAWANDA (2-2) AT MT. HEALTHY (1-3) — The Brave have lost two straight, while the Owls picked up their first win of the season last week. Talawanda’s offense is looking to get back on track after being outscored 69-14 in those two losses.

MADISON (2-2) AT NORTHRIDGE (0-4) — The Mohawks have found their groove, having won two straight games. Madison has put up at least 30 points in those two victories, so expect another offensive showing for the Mohawks in this one.
