DAYTON — The Cincinnati Christian School boys basketball team saw its season end in a 49-41 loss to Fort Loramie in a Division IV district final at UD Arena on Friday.

Cameron Rogers led CCS with 15 points, and teammate Logan Woods had 12.

“We had a really tough schedule, playing a lot of Division I and Division II teams with us being Division IV, so that got us prepared to get to this point,” Rogers said. “But we have a brotherhood that isn’t the same as any other school. Coaches and players were in it together, and it was such an amazing season.”

Nathan Ratermann had a game-high 25 points for the Redskins.

The Cougars finished the season at 20-6. The Redskins moved to 19-7 and will play Jackson Center in a regional semifinal on Tuesday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Kettering Fairmont.

“We’ve been blessed and fortunate to keep this thing turned around,” Cincinnati Christian coach Carl Woods said. “This was a good season for us.”

Cincinnati Christian went into the second quarter up 11-9, but Fort Loramie won each quarter the rest of the way.
