2023-2024 Season Snapshot
Edgewood Cougars
Jason Osterman enters his third year at the Edgewood helm. The Cougars went 6-17 overall and 4-6 in the Southwest Ohio Conference a season ago. They’ll be competing in the Southwestern Buckeye League for the first time this year.
Returning starters include Eddie Thompson, Jaylen Barry and Connor Ballantyne.
“We have a good group of guys that work hard on both ends of the floor,” Osterman said. “Due to our lack of size, we will try to push the pace and play an uptempo style of ball. We expect our defense to be able to create offensive opportunities for us.
“We are excited to be joining the SWBL with a goal of competing for a league championship. We have a good senior class that gained a lot of Varsity experience last year. We also have some young talent that we are expecting to make an immediate impact at the varsity level.”
