Sanders scores 25, Fairfield moves win streak to 3 with victory over St. Vincent-St. Mary

Kameron Sanders scored a team-high 25 points for Fairfield on Saturday.

FAIRFIELD — Kameron Sanders scored a team-high 25 points, Gabe Clemmons and Raymir Coney added 13 apiece and Fairfield moved its winning streak to three games with a 76-69 non-conference victory over St. Vincent-St. Mary on Saturday at Fairfield Arena.

The Indians (5-8) fired 12 of 22 from 3-point range. Michael Lewis was 3 of 4 from behind the arc and finished with 11 points for Fairfield, which assisted on 17 of its 25 field goals from the floor.

Jayson Walker had a game-high 27 points for SVSM (5-10).

WINTON WOODS 57, HAMILTON 53

HAMILTON — Andrea Holden turned in a game-high 17 points and Deon’dre Tillery added 15 in Hamilton’s non-conference home loss to Winton Woods.

Big Blue led 25-18 at halftime and 41-32 after three quarters before being outscored by the Warriors 25-12 in the final period. Hamilton (7-5) had its five-game winning streak snapped.

Tyler McKinney had 16 points for Winton Woods (9-0), which is in first place in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.

MADISON 61, ANSONIA 46

MADISON TWP. — Madison snapped a three-game losing streak with its non-conference home victory over Ansonia. The Mohawks (4-9), who were led by Zane Sprout (15) and Grady Combs (10) in scoring, travel to Twin Valley South on Tuesday.

AIKEN 61, ROSS 57

ROSS TWP. — Ross has lost three in a row and five out of its last six games. Riley Caldwell had 16 points, Keithen Castator added 12 and Isaac Nunn chipped in with 11 to lead the Rams (5-8), who host Northwest on Tuesday.

TAYLOR 57, TALAWANDA 41

CLEVES — Bryce James scored a game-high 21 points in Talawanda’s non-conference road loss to Taylor, dropping the Brave to 1-13 on the season.
