Northern Lower Michigan: Sunny and Comfortable
Crossing the Mackinac Bridge into Lower Michigan, there is not much to complain about. After some areas of morning fog, sunshine will take over for much of the day.
Northern Lower Michigan will reach the upper 60s to mid 70s. Cheboygan is expected to hit about 73 degrees, while Gaylord and West Branch reach near 74. Traverse City and Cadillac should top out around 75 degrees.
Areas near the Lake Huron shoreline will stay a bit cooler. Alpena is forecast to reach around 68 degrees, while Oscoda should be near 70.
Western Michigan: Lakeshore a Little Cooler
Along the Lake Michigan shoreline, cooler lake waters will keep temperatures slightly lower. Ludington and Muskegon are expected to reach around 70 degrees. Farther inland, Grand Rapids will warm to about 73, while Kalamazoo and Niles should reach around 74 degrees.
Central Michigan: Some of the Warmest Spots
Central Michigan will see some of the warmest temperatures in the state. Mount Pleasant and Saginaw are expected to reach around 77 degrees, making them among the warmest locations on Tuesday. Lansing should top out near 74, with Jackson around 75 degrees.
Southeast Michigan: Dry With Highs in the Low to Mid 70s
Southeast Michigan will also stay dry, with highs in the low to mid 70s. Detroit and Pontiac are expected to reach about 75 degrees, while the Thumb area, including Sandusky and St. Clair, should be near 74. Areas toward the southern border near Adrian could reach around 76 degrees, with Kinderhook near 75.
