MIDDLETOWN 1, FAIRFIELD 0: Sophomore Jordan Vann threw a complete game shut out with five strike outs to lead Middletown 1-1 (1-1 GMC). Middies senior Isaac Stamper went 2 for 3 at the plate. Lucas Davids struck out 11 for the Indians, who slipped to 1-2 (1-2 GMC). Teagan Lucking had a hit and a stolen base.

HAMILTON 3, LAKOTA WEST 1: The Big Blue improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the GMC. The Firebirds slipped to 1-3 (1-2 GMC).

OAK HILLS 11, LAKOTA EAST 10: Called in sixth inning due to darkness.

BADIN 17, ROGER BACON 7: The Rams move to 2-1 on the season.

EDGEWOOD 4, MIAMISBURG 2: The Cougars captured a non-conference come-from-behind victory over the Vikings.

WYOMING 5, FENWICK 0

Softball

ROSS 7, TAYLOR 6: Myrissa Combs (3 for 5, two runs, three doubles, RBI), Kam Commins (2 for 3, walk, RBI) and Aurora Wallace (3 for 4, two EBI, run, double) led the Rams at the plate. Paige Baker and Taylor Bertram gave up 11 hits, four earned runs, struck out six and only walked four batters.

HAMILTON 12, MIDDLETOWN 2: Sierra Hoyte’s walk-off homer gave Hamilton a Greater Miami Conference victory. The Big Blue moves to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the GMC.
