LIBERTY TWP. — Lakota East has chosen one of its own to become the next head baseball coach for the Thunderhawks.
The East Athletic office has announced that Jarett Rindfleisch will become the third head coach in their baseball program’s illustrious history.
Upon Board of Education approval, Rindfleisch will take the reins from veteran Ray Hamilton who recently stepped down after 25 seasons.
Rindfleisch played for Hamilton on his 2011 State Championship team and graduated from Lakota East in 2013 (1st team All-GMC). He went on to an outstanding baseball career at Ball State University (BS Degree 2020) where he was a freshman All-American and 3x MAC 1st team honoree.
In his junior year, Rindfleisch was drafted by the Miami Marlins and played professional baseball for three MLB teams (Marlins, Twins, Diamondbacks) from June 2016 to August 2021.
Rindfleisch returned to his alma mater in 2023 and 2024 as a varsity assistant baseball coach for the Thunderhawks.
Rindfleisch is the owner/operator of Cincy Elite Baseball/EVO Baseball. Additionally, he is a coach and recruiting coordinator for CBC Baseball (17U National).
