“Hamilton will compete on the mound and be very athletic in the field,” Sams said. “We return a solid core of starters and have a great young mix of underclassmen.
“Pitching,” Sams said when asked what will stand out the most this season. “We have a stable of great arms that can pitch and great team speed up and down the lineup.”
“We will play with an aggressive mindset at the plate and on the bases. We will compete until the last out of the game.”
