Talawanda Brave
Taylor Alstatt enters his first season at the Talawanda helm.
The Brave went 15-8 overall and 7-3 in the Southwest Ohio Conference a year ago, completing their first winning season in over a decade to go along with a first-ever SWOC championship.
Returning starters are Cale Leitch and Bryce James.
“We have a totally new group of guys — some of which have never played significant minutes at the varsity level,” Alstatt said. “We will rely heavily on our two best playmakers and starters from last season in Bryce and Cale. They are now taking on a new leadership role where they will run the show and will have to provide not only the scoring but leadership moving forward.
“The expectations are to win the conference and make some noise in postseason play.”
