Across the northern part of the region, temperatures were fairly uniform. Lima, Van Wert, Celina, and Kenton all dropped to about 55 degrees, while Wapakoneta came in near 54. Farther west, Bluffton, Indiana and Portland, Indiana also bottomed out near 54 degrees.
Greater Cincinnati and Southern Counties
In Greater Cincinnati, the city saw a morning low of around 54 degrees. Mount Orab was also near 54, while Hillsboro dipped to about 52, making it one of the cooler locations in southern Ohio. Across the state line in southeastern Indiana, Versailles was near 55, and Connersville dropped to around 53 degrees.
East Central Indiana
In East Central Indiana, Richmond saw a low near 54 degrees, while Greenville, Ohio, just across the border, also came in around 54. These readings reflect the consistently comfortable conditions spread across the entire region.
Mostly Clear Skies Overnight
The overnight hours featured a mostly clear sky, which made for great stargazing conditions and helped keep the night calm and quiet. Light winds and dry air allowed temperatures to fall gradually, but the slightly warmer air mass in place kept most areas out of the 40s.
