BCHSS Report is an independent community newspaper. We cover the news that shapes everyday life where our readers live — reported plainly, checked carefully, and beholden to no one but the people who read us.
Who runs it
The Report is edited by Bethany Byles, who founded it on a simple belief: that every community deserves a steady, honest account of what is happening around it, written without spin or sensationalism.
What we cover
Local news, public affairs, business, health and the human-interest stories that tell a community about itself. If it matters to the people here, it belongs in the Report.
Our promise
We report accurately, we are transparent about how we work, and we correct our mistakes in the open. See our Ethics & Standards and Corrections & Clarifications, and write to us any time — Letters to the Editor are welcome.
