Florida Woman Storms Home After Spotting Caregiver on Her Phone Through Security Camera, Confronts Her on Video, and It Backfires Badly

FLORIDA — A Florida woman who rushed home to confront the caregiver she hired for her mother is now facing a wave of criticism, after many viewers said the video showed her, not the worker, behaving badly.

The woman, who goes by Blessed Blind Lady on TikTok as @walkingmiracle18, posted the encounter herself.

Caught on the Home Camera

The video starts with her driving home. She says she saw the worker on her home camera system, sitting on her phone while on the clock.

She had recently hired the woman as an “aide” to care for her mother, and said people need to speak up when hired help is not doing the job.

The Confrontation Inside the House

When she walks in, the worker is indeed on her phone. The homeowner immediately questions whether she even wants the job, complaining she had been on the phone for “like 20 minutes.”

She tells the worker they were hired to help her mom, not sit on the phone. She then leads her into her mother’s bedroom and points out a list of chores she believes still need doing, in what many viewers described as a confrontational tone.

She closes the video by continuing to criticize the work, saying people “have to get it right” with aides.

Viewers Turn on the Homeowner

Instead of backing her up, many commenters said she was the problem. One summed it up as being “aggressive for no reason.”

A grandmother in the comments shared that her own caregivers helped keep her 9-year-old grandson’s room and clothes clean, but never household chores, and urged the woman to speak respectfully to everyone.

“Not Once Did I Disrespect Her”

The homeowner pushed back in the comments, insisting she never disrespected the worker. That only drew more criticism.

Viewers told her the way she approached the woman was disrespectful, and one argued that the moment she decided to hit record, she was looking for a problem.

Aide or Maid

Several viewers pointed out confusion over the job itself. She called the woman an “aide,” but many said the duties she listed sounded more like a maid’s.

Commenters explained that home health aides are there to care for the patient, not to clean the house.

“She’s Human Too”

Others defended the worker directly, suggesting she was likely just taking a break and was allowed to be tired. One commenter added that labor laws may entitle workers to breaks as well.

The worker has not been identified and has not responded publicly.
