Oregon Woman Says Stranger Grabbed Her Ankle at Train Station Trying to Kiss Her Feet While Two Men Nearby Looked at Their Phones
OREGON — An Oregon woman says she was left shaking and scared after a stranger at a train station repeatedly asked to kiss her feet, then grabbed her ankle when she refused, forcing her to kick him to break free while two other men nearby did nothing.
The woman, Annalisa, shared the frightening encounter in a TikTok video, saying she was still shaking as she recorded it.
An Early Morning Commute Turns Frightening
Annalisa said she was heading to work around 7 a.m. and was sitting on a bench at the station waiting for her train when she noticed a man walking nearby.
At first, he seemed completely normal, but he soon walked toward her smiling.
“Excuse Me, Miss. May I Kiss Your Feet?”
Annalisa said she tried to ignore him by looking straight ahead, but he kept getting closer and said, “Excuse me, miss.”
Thinking he might need directions, she responded. Instead, he asked, “May I kiss your feet?”
She Refuses, but He Keeps Moving Closer
Shocked, Annalisa watched as the man stepped even closer, still smiling, and asked again, “Can I kiss your feet?”
She immediately refused and told him to leave her alone.
Man Follows Her, Then Grabs Her Ankle
Annalisa got up and walked away, but the man followed her. The situation then turned frightening when he threw himself to the ground and grabbed her ankle, trying to kiss her feet.
She noted she is not small or particularly thin, yet he still physically targeted her.
Forced to Kick Him to Break Free
To get loose, Annalisa said she had to kick the man in the head. “He wouldn’t stop,” she said, adding that she began screaming at him to get off her.
Two Men Nearby Did Not Step In
What disturbed her most was that two other men were at the station during the encounter. According to Annalisa, neither stepped in, appearing to be looking at their phones as it happened.
Man Keeps Following as She Runs Away
Annalisa eventually ran away, but the man kept following. Despite being terrified, she screamed a warning that she would fight back if he came any closer.
“Why Is It Always a Man?”
Annalisa opened her video by addressing the common phrase “it’s not all men,” asking why it always seems to be a man. She ended by saying it is always a man doing it or letting it happen, pointing to both the attacker and the bystanders.
Police Review Security Footage but Can’t Make an Arrest
Annalisa said she reported the incident as an assault. In a follow-up video, she explained that police retrieved the station’s security footage and watched the man trying to attack her.
She said officers even applauded her for kicking him. However, they told her they could not arrest him because no one knew his name, and said they would look for him. Annalisa responded sarcastically, “Awesome.”
Viewers Stunned That No One Helped
Many viewers were shocked that no one intervened, with one writing in all caps that it was “insane” no one helped. Others questioned why men watch other men do harmful things and stay silent, saying accountability among men could help stop such behavior.
“So Brave, but Sorry You Had to Be”
Several commenters praised Annalisa’s strength and bravery, while expressing sadness that she was forced to defend herself at all.
Why Bystanders Matter
The incident highlights the risks people can face in public spaces and the importance of bystanders stepping in. Even simple actions, such as calling out, standing nearby or calling 911, can make a difference.
