Tell us a little about yourself: I’m happily married to my amazing wife Amanda of 5 years (together for 12), and we have two wonderful children — Jenna 12, Gavin 5. … In 2008, I started the Midwest Tecmo Super Bowl tournament — which is a video game event that raises funds and awareness for the David Fulcher Foundation for multiple sclerosis. … My first-ever job was at the best mom-and-pop shop ever — the late Jim’s Corner Market in Lindenwald. … Once lived in Macomb, Illinois where I wrote sports at the Macomb Journal. … Been told I look like Carson Palmer with a hat on over 100 times (I’ve stopped counting)

What do you like most about covering high school sports? High school sports is pure. I enjoy capturing that purity and putting it into content for all to take in. Providing an outlet for high school student-athletes to be recognized brings me an extreme sense of satisfaction.

What’s the furthest you’ve ever traveled? Connecticut for a Tecmo Super Bowl tournament back in 2008; Florida for vacation (equal distance)
