Tell us a little about yourself: My wife Anie and I have been married for 7 years and we have a 2-year-old daughter, Lyla. We have a big extended family and a lot of close friends. So, when I’m not working or covering HS sports, we’re at a family get-together, taking advantage of our zoo or aquarium passes or at a nearby park.
What do you like most about covering high school sports? One of the things I enjoy most about covering high school sports is it brings back a lot of great memories for me. I was on the wrestling, baseball and football teams in high school and I had some of the best times with my teammates and coaches back then. That being said, I know how hard the players and coaches work to be successful and they deserve to have their story told. And it’s such a blast talking to players and coaches after each game and recognizing the effort they put in
