“Inexperienced group that will rely on pitching a defense,” Downing said of his team. “Offensively, we will have to find a way to manufacture runs. This team also has good speed if we can find a way to get on base consistently.
“Pitching and defense are the strengths of our team,” Downing said on what will stand out the most.
