Middletown Middies
Steven Roe II is in his first season as head coach of the Middletown girls basketball program. Roe was the associate head coach for the last three seasons.
The Middies went 8-15 last season.
Returning starters include Persha Edwards, Taylor Daniels and A’mauria Riep.
“We are a versatile athletic team with depth that plays uptempo offense created by strategic defensive strategies,” Roe said.
“We’re looking to fulfill a three-year building plan of creating a competitive program culture that will produce a plus-.500 record and advance beyond the first round. … Our team plays an electric energetic style of basketball that is enjoyable to watch.”
